Financial Planning Process

STEP 1

Our financial planning consultant sits down with you to define your objectives and to determine your specific financial circumstances. It is important that your financial planner understands your individual investment objectives, financial situation and needs before they provide recommendations to you.  We know that every client is unique and therefore we develop structures and strategies that are individually tailored to you.  The strategy is to optimise the portfolio structure, minimise the tax liability and, in the case of retirement planning, ensure your lifestyle objectives are achieved within the risk parameters you have specified.

STEP 2

We provide you with a detailed financial report, using computer analysis and information compiled with our in-house and external databases.  The report will detail the strategies recommended and the investment products to be used.  It will show all fees payable by you to all parties. The report will also detail all fees, commissions and other benefits your adviser may receive for recommending investments.  It will also explain the level of risk associated with the investment and strategies recommended to you.

STEP 3

Once the strategy has been agreed by you, your financial planner will complete all the necessary documentation, implement the strategy and process the investments on your behalf.  This service minimises the confusion often experienced by many people who attempt a ‘do it yourself’ approach.

STEP 4

For clients who elect to subscribe for the Premier Service, on-going professional support and reviews ensure the strategy continues to meet your objectives, with quarterly and annual reporting to ensure the optimum results are achieved.
